Welcome to Giffords Hall
Giffords Hall is located in the village of Hartest between Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury in Suffolk. We currently have 13 Acres of vines under cultivation with five grape varieties; Madeleine Angevine, Reichensteiner, Bacchus, Rondo and Pinot Noir. We are one of the largest producers of Madeleine Angevine.
We have a full range of Wines. A superb East Anglian Sparkling, award winning rosé, aromatic Bacchus and a crisp, dry white plus a wonderfully fruity red Pinot Noir blend.
Our wines are available directly from us or from selected Farm shops including Spencers, Willow Tree, and Suffolk Food Halls as well as some of the best local restaurants including the Swan in Lavenham, The Roslyn Beach Hotel, Eleveden, The Secret Garden, and in London we have The Wine Pantry in Borough Market and the Stafford Hotel in St James to name but a few.
Giffords Hall Vineyard is family owned and run by Guy and Linda Howard. We have a small Cellar door, open during the summer months and for Christmas, and hold regular open days where we exhibit the work of local artists Sculptors and potters. We offer a range of our own lavender products, locally crafted squire sticks from our woods, wine accessories, fleeces from our rare breed sheep, juice from our orchard, beeswax products, candles, cards, vinegars and our new range of liqueurs.
