Welcome to Giffords Hall

Giffords Hall is located in the village of Hartest between Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury in Suffolk We currently have 12 Acres of vines under cultivation with four grape varieties; Madeleine Angevine, Reichensteiner, Bacchus, Rondo. We are one of the largest producers of Madeleine Angevine.

We are able to offer our customers good quality, clean grapes that have achieved gold medal status. We are able to transport around single 9 tonne loads in returnable crates.

Whilst we are growers only and do not produce wine for retail, top contract winemakers have produced for us a dry white wine from our Madelaine Angevine grapes and sparkling wine from a blend of the Madeleine, Bacchus and Reichensteiner.

Although Giffords Hall is still a working vineyard, it is no longer open to the public. Considerable refurbishment of both the vineyard and former café/shop is being undertaken and we hope to offer a two bedroom holiday let cottage.
